When developing the Efectio tool, we based it on gamification. It encourages employees to behave in a way that managers would like to see more. And that is achieved with human enthusiasm to engage in games. Efectio uses rewards for collected points which helps evaluate employees’ achievements and promote further progress. Gamification fosters the natural desire for rewards by releasing dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and enhancing positive feelings. Whereas, in training, gamification turns content (that might otherwise seem boring) into something interactive and fun.
